The take-over of a renowned consultancy organisation by a British consultancy giant increases its flex benefits licensing requirements.
Coroni Technology continues to provide its Reflex benefit management application to the US organisation, but from 2010 also provides the software to its new British owners.
The existing scheme enables engineers and consultants from the engineering business around the globe to make benefit selections to suit their circumstances. Now highly-skilled workers engaged in hospital, rail, building maintenance and other civil engineering projects in the UK will have access to the software online.
Adding a whole new set of employees into the scheme brings with it changing and challenging requirements.
As well as the additional benefits with their own terms and conditions, the client and their benefit consultants plan to align the benefits year for the two businesses, resulting in a 9 month ‘year’ for existing employees until all are engaged in a spring 2010 enrolment.
Fortunately the configuration options within the Reflex software support all of the client’s new benefit management needs, including data feeds into additional payroll and provider systems.
